So i'm going to stop being a panzy and get my car(s) on the track, but I need a helmet. I'm planning to do some autox and maybe get into some hpde. Reading online it seems like a snell sa2005 helmet would be the way to go, so I could have it for a few years and not be restricted because of my helmet rating. I'm also liking the idea of having a full face helmet, so i don't take any rocks or rubber off the chin. I'm hoping to keep the price in the $200-250 range.

What kind of helmets do you guys run with? Any brands that you've found to be better than others? Anything to look out for when buying one? And are there any local places that have a good selection in helmets?

I've found a couple out there online, but I'd really like to try a few on to see which one is comfortable before i drop $200+ on it.
