March 20 Tech-o-Rama Tech-talks, sponsors, dyno, prizes!
Save the date for
Tech-O-Rama! Think of this event as Gateway Tech but more open and seriously performance-oriented. Those wishing to get their race cars tuned, dynoed and tech inspected can do so, and while waiting can talk about tire, suspension, and brake choices with the experts. Additionally, the organizers are leaning hard on sponsors to get some AWESOME door prizes. This isn't an event you want to miss! What: -Tech sessions on suspension, brakes, tires and others. -Dyno Sessions -Corner weighting -2010 SCCA Tech inspections -LOTS of door-prizes and freebies! When: March 20, 2010 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Where Lynch Hummer 17371 North Outer 40 Chesterfield MO 63005 Full event details This event will be an open meet and greet for SCCA members and non-members alike. Sponsor tables, membership information, seminars and car displays will be on hand. There will be FREE Hoosier tire and Cobolt Brakes GIVEAWAYS! For $45 you can have your car Dyno tested. Two runs on the 2-wheel Dynojet 224X and professional evaluation so you know whether you are producing as much power as you could. (Contact stldsr@yahoo.com to register early as space is limited to 24 cars/3 per hour) What is an event without food! We will have free hot dogs and soda. Plans are being made for Event, Club, and Sponsor P.R., including radio, television, and print media coverage. Stay tuned for further developments! ANNUAL TECH INSPECTION will be available for PDX, Solo, and Club Racing. SCALES will be available for members who want corner and total weights. Camber and Toe measurements can be provided along with basic analysis for areas of improvement. Questions/Answers with the expert. -Rolling Hills Resort / Race Facility - See the presentation for the proposed multi-purpose race facility located south of St. Louis in Jefferson County -Data presentation – what is data acquisition and how it helps you -Plus watch cars from 100 to 1200Hp howling on the dyno! DRAWINGS, RAFFLES, GIVEAWAYS totaling thousands of dollars!!!
