I realized when I bought my car that the serpentine belt was looking a bit tired, so I finally ordered one from amazon. Showed up in the mail today, and I just happened to have today off..so I replaced the damn thing.

First thing I did was jack the car up and put it on one jackstand. You need access to the passenger side wheel well. So I took the wheel off to get to this cover.

This gave me access to the lower part of the belt routing. Makes it a lot easier to get the belts in and out.

The tensioner bolt is a 14mm, and its kinda hard to do with just the wrench, so I stuck my 1/2 inch breaker bar in the open end of the wrench to make a huge lever. I found that the factory hood prop was mostly in the way, so I used a broom stick on the driver side of the engine bay to hold the hood up instead.

Makes it super easy to operate the tensioner. I snaked the old belt out to find it was pretty messed up.

Getting the new belt in is easiest feeding it down from the top, and doing the crank pulley and ac pulley first. Just dont forget how the belt was routed. Make sure its all lined up on the pulleys, and do the wrench trick on the tensioner again. I routed the belt all the way up to the top idler pulley and put that one on last when I had the tensioner pulled loose.

All said and done, it took me about 20 minutes to do and didnt even get dirty!

I did mine already, then had to replace it with a smaller belt to bypass the a.c. compressor, cause my compressor went to shit :x
