This is awesome, I think I might look for one of these down the road. and that exhaust is awesome! you got it on yahoo auctions?
Yeah Yahoo Japan. Go to jauce.com and make an account, and then you can bid on auctions if you want. There's some fees for using the service, and shipping was about $135 to the east coast. I think I'm about $200 all in for the muffler. It was delivered to my house today, but I wasnt home to accept it. The shipping is pretty damn fast.

It's SO QUIET now. Almost boring... lol. But its how I wanted it so there is that. Going to clean the tips up a little later.

aaaaaaaaaaaand by a little later, I meant right now. I busted out the ol nevr dull and a bit of steel wool and cleaned these ol things up. Took a few minutes, and it's something that probably only I'll ever see.. but they look good now.

Fixed another annoying thing about the car today.

Had an issue where the door wouldnt stay open, apparently a common thing on these. The part you'll need is called a door checker, and they're about $30.

It's very hard to find. It's a 12mm on the chassis side, and two 10mm bolts on the door side.

I thought I would get lucky and it would come out toward the car.. but I had no such luck. Door panel has to come off. Used a pumpkin that I didn't carve.

I only disconnected the cable for the door locks, and left the window switch and lock switch attached.

Now all is well. Door stays open in two places just like it should. Took about 20 minutes or so and is pretty easy.

Picked up a head unit from work on Friday, just have to wait on the color matched trim kit I've ordered.

Installed the head unit last night with the last hour of daylight.

It kind of bummed me out how much of the dash had to come apart to do it, I miss the older cars where it was much easier.

The dash kit I picked up was close enough in color, a lot closer than black would have been.

It's super cool to finally have bluetooth audio and no cables in my car. I just need to re attach my phone mount and I'll be good to go. It's getting damn fucking cold here so remote start should happen next.
